About Jean Wolinski-Hobbs
Ms. Hobbs is an Auditor/Investigator in the Regulatory Affairs Division of the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. Ms. Hobbs is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and in 1999 relocated to North Carolina. Licensed since 1993, Jean has worked in retail property management and residential sales, specializing in bank foreclosures prior to joining the Commission staff in 2006 as an Information Officer.

In 2009, Jean was named a Consumer Protection Officer, then in 2015, she moved to the Audits and Investigations Division. As an Auditor/Investigator, Jean investigates complaints against licensees on a statewide basis and performs audits of real estate trust accounts.
